British Naval History rocks!

"The Defining Moment-Trafalgar" painted by Robin Brooks, 1805.

Yes, I am a nerd. But it is really interesting. I encourage you all to look into it. Especially the early 1800's navy. If you saw the film by Peter Weir, "Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World" you can glimpse a little about the life that these men used to live. The most important figure was Lord Viscount Horatio Nelson, who was able to defeat the French Navy of Napoleon Bonaparte. Who knows what would have happened if Napoleon had been able to invade England, a feat he abandoned after the Battle of Trafalgar. In this battle, Nelson, the greatest British hero of his age, is killed by a French sniper.

Anyway, reading rocks kids!
