Jessica Simpson's sister is not

PUNK. I just saw a part of her video where she is wearing a white shirt with pink letters saying "punk". It's amazing what the music industry has done to punk every since the 80's. Back then, punk was bad. It was a real rebellion. The industry was threatened by a bunch young people forming their own touring system and recording their own stuff without major label help. By the early 90's it was simply a style from which you got your new "cool" band. I don't blame the bands that "sold out" too much, money is a powerful thing. I question those labels that forced change on their records, forced them to give up their credibility. The bottom line is the bottom line after all.
